Who We Are

Racers first.

GGS Motorsports started as one guy with a beat-up endurance car. It's still that — plus a whole crew, two race cars, and a season full of weekends.

The Manifesto

We believe motorsports should be accessible, welcoming, and exciting.

Real racing changed our lives. It taught us focus, patience, and how to lose well. But for too many people, it's locked behind six-figure cars, gated paddocks, and a culture that treats new drivers like an inconvenience. We exist to change that — one weekend at a time.

Whether you're chasing lap times, prepping for your first race, or just want to feel what a real wheel-to-wheel pass is like — we'll meet you where you are, hand you the keys, and ride with you until you're hooked too.

01

No Egos

We don't care about your day job, your build sheet, or your follower count. We care that you want to drive.

02

No Gatekeeping

Everyone who walks into the paddock learns something. The fast people share. That's the deal.

03

Just Real Racing

Wheel-to-wheel, clock-doesn't-lie racing. We coach for it, we prep for it, we live for it.

Why GGS Exists

It didn't start with a business plan.

It started with a helmet, an old car, and a Saturday morning at the track. Everything that followed — the wins, the losses, the friendships, the failures — is why this exists.

2003

The spark

First track day in a borrowed E36. Hooked immediately.

2008

Learning to lose

First endurance build — a $500 car and a $5,000 problem.

2014

Going racing

Joined the ChampCar Endurance Series as a full-time entrant.

2019

Teaching the next grid

Started arrive-and-drive coaching for new endurance drivers.

2023

The missing piece

GGS Motorsports LLC — opened a real shop in NC.

2026

GGS is born

10-event season, two cars, and a growing roster of drivers.

The Crew

Who you'll meet in the paddock.

G

Gus

Founder · Lead Driver

20+ years racing endurance and sprint cars. Spends winters porting heads, summers passing them.

S

Sam

Crew Chief

Used to wrench in IMSA. Now refuses to let a tire go on crooked, even at a $500 race.

R

Riley

Driver Coach

SCCA Majors podium driver. Patient on the radio, brutal in the debrief.

D

Drew

Logistics & Hospitality

Keeps the trailer organized, the cooler stocked, and the morning briefing on time.

What Makes Us Different

We're not reading from a manual.

We've built the cars. Broken the cars. Won championships. Lost races. Made mistakes and spent our own money learning what works. Every customer benefits from everything we've already paid to learn — and we focus on education just as much as seat time, because the goal is drivers who get better every single event.

Experience, not theory

Two decades of building, breaking, and racing our own cars. Everything we teach was paid for with our own money.

Education over upsell

Coaching, data, and debriefs are standard. We measure success by whether you leave a better driver.

Under promise, over deliver

No exaggerated claims, no bashing competitors. Authenticity wins, and it's the only way we know how to operate.

The Long Game

When someone in the Southeast wants to go road racing, we want to be the first name they think of.

Long term we want GGS operating multiple race cars throughout North America — known not just for rentals, but for driver coaching, corporate experiences, content creation, motorsports education, and race team support.

  • Race car rentals
  • Driver coaching
  • Corporate experiences
  • Content creation
  • Motorsports education
  • Race team support
Fleet Roadmap
Y1
Mustang GT + VW Golf

Two very different platforms — power and momentum.

Y2
Add two Miatas

The best-supported rear-drive learning car in the country.

Y3
Another Miata + another Mustang

Multiple seats per weekend, multiple budgets covered.

The goal is multiple cars available for different budgets and experience levels — so the right car exists for whoever walks into the paddock.

Who We Build For

Age doesn't matter. Attitude does.

We want good people who love cars. That's genuinely the whole filter.

First-time HPDE drivers
Experienced track day drivers

Come race with us.

First-timers genuinely welcome. Pick up the phone — we'd rather talk it through than have you guess.

Built by racers. Run by racers.
