Who We Are

Racers first.

GGS Motorsports started as one guy with a beat-up endurance car. It's still that — plus a whole crew, two race cars, and a season full of weekends.

The Manifesto

We believe motorsports should be accessible, welcoming, and exciting.

Real racing changed our lives. It taught us focus, patience, and how to lose well. But for too many people, it's locked behind six-figure cars, gated paddocks, and a culture that treats new drivers like an inconvenience. We exist to change that — one weekend at a time.

Whether you're chasing lap times, prepping for your first race, or just want to feel what a real wheel-to-wheel pass is like — we'll meet you where you are, hand you the keys, and ride with you until you're hooked too.

01

No Egos

We don't care about your day job, your build sheet, or your follower count. We care that you want to drive.

02

No Gatekeeping

Everyone who walks into the paddock learns something. The fast people share. That's the deal.

03

Just Real Racing

Wheel-to-wheel, clock-doesn't-lie racing. We coach for it, we prep for it, we live for it.

The Long Lap

Twenty-plus years on track.

2003

First track day in a borrowed E36. Hooked immediately.

2008

First endurance build — a $500 car and a $5,000 problem.

2014

Joined the ChampCar Endurance Series as a full-time entrant.

2019

Started arrive-and-drive coaching for new endurance drivers.

2023

GGS Motorsports LLC — opened a real shop in NC.

2026

10-event season, two cars, and a growing roster of drivers.

The Crew

Who you'll meet in the paddock.

G

Gus

Founder · Lead Driver

20+ years racing endurance and sprint cars. Spends winters porting heads, summers passing them.

S

Sam

Crew Chief

Used to wrench in IMSA. Now refuses to let a tire go on crooked, even at a $500 race.

R

Riley

Driver Coach

SCCA Majors podium driver. Patient on the radio, brutal in the debrief.

D

Drew

Logistics & Hospitality

Keeps the trailer organized, the cooler stocked, and the morning briefing on time.

Come race with us.

First-timers welcome. Helmets optional (well, not actually — but you know what we mean).
