Know Before You Go

Race Track Guides

Corner-by-corner notes, reference points, and honest opinions on the tracks we run across the Southeast.

Showing up to a new track cold costs you a full session. These guides exist so you can arrive already knowing which corners matter and which ones just feel fast.

We're publishing these as we run each venue. If a track you're heading to isn't here yet, call us — we've probably got notes.

Not sure where you fit yet? Start with our full guide to grassroots racing and how to get into amateur motorsports.

01

Reference points

Braking markers and turn-in references that work for a novice, not just a pro.

02

Setup notes

What we change on our cars and why.

03

Paddock intel

Where to park, what to bring, and where the good food is.

Tracks we run

  • Virginia International Raceway (Full and Grand courses)
  • Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval
  • Carolina Motorsports Park
  • Road Atlanta
  • Roebling Road Raceway
  • Barber Motorsports Park

How to use a track guide

Read it the night before. Walk or drive the track if the event allows it. Then throw the guide away for session one and just learn where the corners go — references only help once the track is in your head.

Common Questions

Straight answers.

Are these guides free?

Yes. Education is the whole point. If they help you, come race with us sometime.

Can you coach me at one of these tracks?

Yes — that's usually the fastest way to learn a new venue.

Talk to a racer, not a call center.

Phone is the fastest way to get real answers about dates, cars, and what actually fits your goals. Prefer to type? The form works too.
